Dosa

Dosa is a South Indian breakfast dish  made from fermented rice batter.Dosa recipe is very simple and easy to prepare. Dosa with sambar is a perfect combination for a healthy breakfast.


Ingredients:-

Dosa/Idli rice-500 gm
Urad dal-250 gm
Methi seeds-1 tsp
Salt-to taste
water

Method:-

1)Soak the rice,urad dal and methi seeds in enough water for 3-4 hours.
2)Grind it together in a mixer till smooth consistency.
3)Add salt and let it ferment in a large enough bowl for about 7-8 hours in warm place.
4)Heat a tawa and pour about 1 or 1/2 cup batter to the centre of the tawa.Then spread the batter with a circular motion,cook both sides and remove from pan.
5)serve dosa with chutney and sambar.
