Prawns / Chemmen Roast 


Ingredients:

For Marinate:

Prawns - 500 gm
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - As required

For Roast:

Onion - 2 (sliced)
Tomato - 1(large,chopped)
Green chilli - 3-4(chopped)
Ginger - 1 tsp(chopped)
Garlic - 1 tsp(chopped)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder -  1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves  
Salt
Coconut oil 




Method:

1) Wash and clean the prawns.Marinate prawns with red chilli powder,turmeric powder,pepper powder and salt.Keep aside for 20 minutes.Add enough water and cook it.(half cooked).
2) Heat oil in a pan add onion,green chilli,ginger,garlic and chopped tomato.Saute it very well till the onions become brownish.
3) Now add chilli powder,turmeric powder,pepper powder,coriander powder,garam masala and salt.Saute it well.


4) Now add cooked prawns and curry leaves.Mix well,add oil and cook it covered for around 10-15 minutes.Stir in between.Tasty prawns roast is ready to serve.
